Dreams Of Paradise
May 1st, 2011 by David William WeisnerGreek city-states
tell tales
of glory and alabaster
Winning seafoams’s
due presence
for ginger skies
Pour fourth
your vision
And drink from wisdom
Persephone’s council
courts a new
day’s androgyny
I smile at
your lax
appreciation
And take
fair notice
in a harlots wake
The lords
have come
with rhyming couplets
Indigenous species
haunt the
mountainside
And wait or
you in dreams
of paradise
